B&Q to Launch Their One Planet Living Awards

B&Q has announced the launch of their One Planet Living Awards. The awards offer local community based projects the chance to secure up to £10,000 of products from B&Q, if they can show how they support environmental issues.

The winners will be chosen from energy and environment, wildlife and natural habitat protection and cultural and heritage projects.

The Award is designed to show customers that it is important to look after the one planet we have and has devised a list of ten guidelines which all people should follow. They hope that the award will encourage communities and organisations to move towards a change in society.

Anyone who wants to enter can download a copy of the entry form from the B&Q website. The deadline for entries is 28 March.
